The Luft was inspired by a very elegant 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa that was owned by Playforever's founder, Julian Meagher, while he lived in Florence, Italy for 2 years. This car in a beautiful shade of ivory was perfect for cruising the hills of Tuscany and certainly made every school run an absolute joy. We started designing the shape of the Luft with no detail whatsoever, aside from the wrapped Targa assembly that seemed to be the best way to go. Fortunately, we succeeded and are very pleased with how it turned out. We plan to create another 911 based on the 80s icon, the 930 turbo, and we might even make it a slant-nose with a whale tail too.

Our toys are made from high-quality ABS plastic and are designed to last a lifetime. We use soft-rolled, kid-friendly rubber wheels. The main body shells are finished with a high-gloss transparent coating, UV resistant for durability and scratch resistance.
