The Luft was inspired by a very stylish 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa that was owned by Playforever's founder, Julian Meagher, while he lived in Florence, Italy for 2 years. This car in a beautiful shade of ivory was perfect for buzzing around the Tuscan hills and certainly made every school run an absolute delight. We started designing the shape of the Luft with no detail whatsoever, except for the wrapped Targa assembly which seemed to be the best way to go. Fortunately, we succeeded and are very pleased with how it turned out. We plan to make another 911 based on the iconic 80s model, the 930 turbo, and we might even give it a slanted nose with a dual-scale whale tail.

Our toys are made from high-quality ABS plastic and are designed to last a lifetime. We use soft-rolling, child-friendly rubber wheels. The outer shells of the main body are finished with a clear high-gloss coating, UV resistant for durability and scratch resistance.
