The Luft was inspired by a very sleek 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa owned by Playforever's founder, Julian Meagher, while he lived in Florence, Italy for 2 years. This car in a beautiful shade of ivory was perfect for cruising the hills of Tuscany and certainly made every journey an absolute joy. We started to design the shape of the Luft without any specific details, except for the wrapped Targa assembly, which seemed to be the best approach. Fortunately, we managed to achieve it, and we are very pleased with how it turned out. We plan to create another 911 based on the 80s icon, the 930 turbo, and we might even make it a sloped-nose with a double-scale whale tail.
