This wonderful robotic arm moves up and down and opens and closes its jaws. Children can guide it to grab, lift, and release the items they desire!
HOW IT WORKS: The motor powered by batteries spins the gears inside the arm. The motor spins quite fast, while the gears reduce the speed of movement. By pressing the right button, a switch is activated that makes the motor move in one direction. This engages a series of gears that rotate the large eccentric wheel within the arm’s frame. As the eccentric rotates, its pin moves up and down in the shoulder socket. This also makes the arm move up and down. By pressing the left button, the direction in which the motor rotates is reversed. This engages a different series of gears that rotates the smaller eccentric wheel within the arm’s frame. As the eccentric rotates, its pin moves up and down in the shoulder socket. This also makes the arm move up and down.
