Build this impressive spider robot that launches flying discs while trapping insects in its web.
HOW IT WORKS: The motor rotates the wheel at high speed. When you place a foam disc into the recess, the grooved edge of the wheel grips the edge of the disc. This way, the disc is caught and its speed increases significantly. It also causes the disc to spin. The rotational motion keeps the disc stable as it flies.
CONTENTS: 1 body cover, 1 base, 2 legs, 1 battery cover with screw, 1 motor cover, 1 wheel, 4 target bases, 10 foam discs, 1 motor, 1 target template, 2 terminal covers, 9 screws. Also required but not included in the package: 3 AAA 1.5 volt batteries, a small Phillips screwdriver.
