HOW IT WORKS: Sunlight is a form of energy. When sunlight hits the solar cell, it converts a number of photons (light particles) into electricity. The electric current flows from the cells to the motor, activating it. As it switches to battery power, it allows the electric current to flow from the battery to the motor in the opposite direction. The purpose of the gears inside the gearbox is to reduce the motor speed and generate more power for the machine to pump water.
