HOW IT WORKS: The solar energy collector is made up of solar cells. When sunlight hits the solar cells, they create an electric current. The current makes the small motor turn, which in turn rotates the wheels. The gears make the wheels turn slower than the motor. This allows the motor to turn the wheels more easily.
